Who we are

The Parent Advice

The Parent Advice team are a network of dedicated professionals who are social work trained and have many years of experience. Our experts have a fountain of knowledge and experience of working with children and their families and continue to actively work on the frontline. Our advisers have worked in child protection, fostering teams and children in care which enables them to provide a high level of guidance and support in many different circumstances.

The Parent Advice professionals have extensive knowledge and experience working ‘hands on’ with children and families. Our advisors have worked within the family court in private law proceedings and have gained a vast amount of knowledge which enables them to share this with you. An example of this includes writing social work reports to the courts to share any strengths and concerns and make professional recommendations. The invaluable experience of our advisors demonstrates an expert knowledge base to be able to advise you with your child contact issues and concerns.

In addition, working in the family court within private proceedings, our team have advised the court and made recommendations for child arrangements for many years. This is mainly in authoring section 7 and 37 social work reports which are sometimes requested by the court. This provides our advisors with an expert knowledge base to enable them to support you on these matters, keeping the children at the centre of any decision.

We carefully select our advisors to ensure that they are experienced, professional and child-centred practitioners and we are confident in their ability to provide the best tailored support for you and your family.
