Where we can help you
for your Child Contact
We at the Parent Advice are a network of professionals who have knowledge and experience working with children and families. Our advisors have worked within the family court in private law proceedings with families who are separated. This experience includes writing social work reports to the courts to advise them. The extensive experience provides a good knowledge base to be able to advise you with your child contact issues.
Advice with managing child contact problems with the other parent. These could include parental agreements and how to have positive communication.
Applications to Court
We can provide advice based on our experience of how to make an application to court. This includes the paperwork needed and the process before the first hearing.
Attending court can be daunting when you do not know the process or procedure. We use our experience of attending court to talk you through what to expect.
Court Orders can be difficult to read and understand. We can support you to understand them and what they mean.
Section 7 and 37 Reports
These are social work reports and may be requested by the court. Our advisers have experience in writing these reports and can use this knowledge to explain and help you understand what they mean.
Court Order not Working?
Advice on what to do if the court order is not being followed, including mediation, communicating with the other parent or the option of taking the matter back to court.

In addition, working in the family court in private proceedings, our team have advised the court and made recommendations for child arrangements. This is mainly in authoring section 7 and 37 social work reports. This provides our advisors with expert knowledge to enable them to support you on these matters, keeping the children at the centre of any decision.
